Defogging films operate at a power density of 0.8–3.5 W/dm². For a typical 600×800mm bathroom mirror, this translates to approximately 4–17 watts of continuous draw — comparable to a low-energy LED bulb. In most residential and commercial contexts, the contribution to electricity costs is negligible. The film is also designed for high electrical-to-heat conversion efficiency, meaning minimal energy is lost as waste heat outside the mirror surface.
